Commissioned by Esmée Fairbairn, this research explores work in Barking & Dagenham, Plymouth and Sandwell, highlighting how local infrastructure supports community impact and amplifies local voices in decision-making.
Esmee Report Place Let funding

We were delighted to undertake this research and reflection. Each of the three initiatives have generated rich and important learning for place-based practice and funding. We thank all those who contributed for their candid and thoughtful insights. If there is one overriding reflection from us it’s how critical it is that we continue to invest in strong local infrastructure. Without this support and leadership, communities will not be able to build and sustain a rich community sector that has the reach, trust and impact that supports diverse communities equitably.
